...I just finished this amalgamation and I thought you might be interested in seeing it. I had purchased a Medicom Fujiko Mine figure being led to believe that it was articluated. When I got it I found that it was only shoulders and waist. That just don't cut it in my book. And when the anorexic Winona came out I got the idea to combine the two. Make the best out of two lacking figures as it were. So what I did was make strategic cuts on the hollow Fujiko body. At ribcage, groin and knee. I sliced the chest down the back and was able to slide it over Winnie's chest with some adjusting. The pelvis just slid right on with room to spare. A bit of Epoxy putty and it was fixed in place. The thighs, I had to cut in half ( winnie's) and slide and putty the Fujiko leg over the 2 ends. The arms and calves were beefed up a little with Magic Sculp. Then I melded and smoothed all the seams where the two bodies met with MS as well. Then I airbrushed the whole body with Model Master skin tones. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Though I've left the Winona head on her for these pics I am making a new head for her. I'm planning on making her head so that it has changeable "wigs". Not like yours though, the plastic kind. I'm also working on your method of altering existing heads. Sculpting them without a base has never worked out well for me... --07 July 2000
